At Snibben, the nature-oriented and peaceful activities are at the top of the list.

Snibbens Strandcafé & Grill

Snibbens Strandcafé & Grill is located right next to the beach and the campsite. The small restaurant with the large terrace on the lake and unbeatable lake views. Open from mid-June to the end of August. During the summer there is a lot going on at the Strandcafé. Check out the website or follow us on instagram and facebook to keep up to date.

Prästberget

Follow the hiking trail from Snibben 1.5 km up to the top of Prästberget and enjoy a unique view of the High Coast, the High Coast Bridge and the large and small Sandö Bridge. There is also a nice barbecue area up here.

Wood-fired sauna

Take the opportunity to relax and try our wood-fired sauna. The sauna is located with a terrace and large bathing jetty right on the shore. This year (2025) our "Sauna World" will also be expanded with a wood-fired hot tub right next to the water.

Wood-fired hot tub right on the beachfront with magical views (New for 2025). Take the opportunity and have a vacation spa day and relax with hot tub, sauna and amazing views.

Beach locations

Snibbens Camping is famous for its popular waterside pitches right on the shore. Step out of the caravan door or tent opening, take a morning dip, go fishing or just relax and enjoy the beautiful view.

Beach

Swim at our beautiful and very child-friendly beach with a new playground and bridges in horseshoes right next to Snibben. Or take the opportunity to take a morning dip at your own beach spot.

High Coast Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge of Sweden. Perhaps the most famous landmark of the High Coast. Take the hiking trail from Snibben 1.5 km up to the top of Prästberget and get a unique view of the Högakusten Bridge, large and small Sandö Bridge and a large part of the High Coast.

Miniature Golf

New mini golf course (2022) and outdoor ping pong table on the nice headland between the campsite, the beach and Snibbens Strandcafé & Grill.

SUP

Rent SUPs (StandUpPaddleboards), canoes, pedal boats, rowing boats or small motorboats, head out on the vast Mörtsjön and get a unique view of the High Coast Bridge.

Rafting

Book a raft trip with a view of the High Coast Bridge and a popular beach break at Strandcafét.

Bus to Bygdespelen

Book a bus to the popular Bygdespelen in Lövvik. Byberg & Nordin stops at the new bus stop "Mörtsal" at the southern bridge about 3 km from Snibben. Book via the website bybergnordin.se. Let us know if you are more than 8 guests and you will be picked up directly at Gamla Läkarbostaden on Snibben. This is booked at least 3 days in advance.

Day trips on an electric bike

Experience the fabulous landscape of the High Coast by bike. Choose between our mountain bikes or comfortable electric bikes. Hemsön is one of our most popular cycling destinations.

Playground and playroom

Inside the Snibbens Camping area there is a small playground for the little ones and right by the beach, the miniature golf course and the outdoor ping-pong table a nice new playground. Craft rooms keep the little ones busy on rainy days.

Beach for dogs

Shallow and nice little dog beach for all Labradors and other dogs that love to swim.

Judit & Bertil Vintage & Second Hand

We have a great interest in vintage & second hand. At Judit & Bertil you can find everything from branded clothing to vases and smaller furniture. In the 2025 season, we are expanding the store with another log cabin at Gamla Läkarbostaden.

Fishing

Free fishing all along the campsite. Many people like to fish directly from their own pitch. The vast Mörtsjön is 40 m deep and there are plenty of perch and pike. Game fish should also be found.

Friday bar

The Friday bar in Strandcafét with some extra happy prices. During the summer of 2025, our wife-badger Walle will be a guest at Midsommardagsminglet and the Friday Bars on June 27 and July 4. Keep an eye out on Facebook and Instagram for more Friday guests.

Midsummer's Day Mingle

Traditional Midsummer Day mingle at Strandcafét. Our troubadour Walle is the guest.

Lockeby Brewery

Lockeby Bryggeri takes over the bar in Strandcafét. Keep an eye out on social media for more info.

Peter Granåsen and High Coast Whisky

High Coast Surf visits

High Coast Surf visits a few times during the summer with electric surfboards.

Within walking distance

Högsjö hembygdsgård och gamla kyrka

Right across the lake and within walking distance of Snibbens Camping, Stugby & Vandrarhem you will find the idyllic Högsjö old church, local history museum and café, all run by Högsjö Hembygdsförening. The church was built at the end of the 14th century and after having been destroyed since the 18th century, it underwent extensive restoration in the early 20th century. On Midsummer's Eve, there is a raft trip across the lake to Högsjö Hembygdsgård's idyllic and very popular Midsummer celebration.

Arnold's car museum

The Amazing Arnolds Car Museum is so much more than a car museum. A must-see just 3 kilometres walk from Snibben. Over 650 car models in sheet metal. Some of them are real rarities. Also full-scale cars and other motor-themed curiosities, including BMW and VW.

Skimutis showroom

Visit world-renowned woodcarver and artist Tomas Skimuti's showroom in Ramvik. Here you'll find imaginative furniture, sculptures and artwork.
